Orphan Tuition Aid
No child should lose their education because they lost a parent.
IISF covers full or partial tuition fees for orphaned children from primary school through university. We partner with institutions directly to ensure funds go exactly where they're needed.
Our goal is to assign each supported child a dedicated case worker to monitor academic progress. Support renewal will be linked to continued enrollment and satisfactory performance.

- Child must be an orphan (one or both parents deceased)
- Currently enrolled in a registered school or institution
- Guardian must provide proof of household income below threshold
- Currently accepting applications from Nigeria (pilot country)

Widow/Widower Support Program
Rebuilding lives, one family at a time.
When a widow or widower loses their primary financial support overnight, IISF steps in as a financial partner, working alongside the recipient to stabilize the household, reduce immediate pressure, and build a clear path toward independence.
Support is a monthly stipend for up to 12 months, giving the recipient breathing room to stabilise their household and find their footing on their own terms.

- Household income below established threshold

STEM Scholarships
Rewarding brilliance, fueling the next generation of global engineers.
IISF awards merit based scholarships to recent STEM graduates. We recognise those who have just completed their degree and are taking their next step into the workforce or further study.
Beyond funding, our goal is to connect each scholar with a professional in their field for career guidance, networking, and internship opportunities.

- Recent graduate, STEM degree completed within the last 3 months
- From an accredited university
- Minimum CGPA of 4.0 / 5.0 (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated academic excellence and merit
- Strong leadership or community involvement record

Engineering Equipment Grants
Connecting surplus engineering equipment with the universities that need it most.
IISF coordinates the acquisition and redistribution of decommissioned but functional engineering equipment from companies with surplus inventory. As technology generations advance, precision instruments and test hardware that remain fully operational can become misaligned with cutting edge requirements. Equipment built for one generation of interface standards can no longer validate the higher speed protocols of the next. Rather than sitting idle in storage, this equipment is channelled to where it creates lasting impact.
University engineering departments may receive oscilloscopes, signal analysers, network equipment, power systems, and mechanical lab rigs, giving students direct exposure to real industry hardware. In a job market where hands on skills are increasingly scarce, graduates leave with practical, employer ready experience that classroom theory alone cannot provide.

- Accredited university with an engineering or technical department
- Must have a designated equipment custodian and adequate storage facility
- Submit a justified list of equipment needed with expected student count
- Agree to provide annual usage and condition reports
- Priority given to underserved, underequipped institutions with limited access to modern lab infrastructure

- 3Customs clearance and logistics coordinated by IISF
- 4Delivery and handover with installation documentation
STEM Excellence Award
Recognising outstanding recent STEM graduates based purely on academic excellence, innovation, and demonstrated impact, regardless of financial circumstances.
Who Can Apply
- Recent graduate, STEM degree completed within the last 3 months
- From an accredited university
- Minimum CGPA of 4.5 / 5.0 or equivalent first class standing
- Demonstrated innovation, research output, or community impact
- No financial need assessment. Merit is the sole criterion.
