About Innovative Impact Support Foundation
Born from the belief that access to quality education and professional tools should never be limited by geography or circumstance.
Our Mission
To channel surplus and underutilised resources from engineering firms and institutions worldwide to underserved communities, providing orphans with education, widows with stability, outstanding students with scholarships, and universities with the engineering tools to train the next generation of innovators.
Engineering firms and technology companies regularly retire fully functional equipment as newer generations arrive. IISF bridges the gap, connecting that surplus with underequipped university labs and giving students hands on experience with real industry hardware.
Our Vision
A world where no child is denied education because they lost a parent, no widow is left without support, and no engineering student graduates without having touched professional grade equipment.
The Insight Behind IISF
Across engineering and technology companies, a pattern repeats: entire equipment lifecycles ending not because the machines have failed, but because newer models have arrived. Functional hardware retired while the knowledge it carries remains perfectly transferable.
In communities worldwide, a parallel reality: children pulled from school after a parent's death, widows navigating grief and financial collapse at once, and brilliant students whose excellence goes unrecognised for want of a structured opportunity.
IISF was built to respond to both: tuition aid for orphaned children, support for widows and widowers rebuilding their lives, merit scholarships for exceptional students, and functional engineering equipment channelled from firms worldwide into institutions that will put it to work.
The Founder
Alaba Esho
Founder & Executive Director
Alaba Esho is a professional in the engineering and technology sector with experience across equipment lifecycles in US and international companies. He lost both parents at a young age and completed his education only because his siblings stepped in to sponsor him β an act of family solidarity that he has carried with him ever since.
That personal history is the foundation of IISF's human programmes. Before the Foundation was formally established, Alaba personally funded two consecutive cohorts of the STEM Excellence Award at FUTA and provided direct financial support to over 50 families and individuals in need through tuition aid and general assistance for food and shelter. IISF is the structure built to scale what began as a personal commitment.
βI was fortunate. Someone stepped in for me. IISF exists so that more people get that chance.β
